Scott Martin, M.S. L.Ac., Diplomate in Chinese Herbology
(National and Wisconsin Licensure in Acupuncture; Diplomate in Chinese Herbology)

Scott graduated Summa Cum Laude from the Midwest College of Oriental Medicine in Racine, WI, where he received his Master's of Science in Oriental Medicine, as well as a Bachelor's in Nutrition. He completed the majority of his internship at a free walk-in clinic in the Racine community, which inspired him to help keep acupuncture and Chinese herbs accessible to those from all walks of life.
Like many practitioners, Scott came to a career in Oriental medicine as a patient first, looking for a holistic means of relieving the migraines he suffered from for much of his life. This path led to his discovery of yoga, meditation, herbal medicine, and finally acupuncture.
Scott is continually seeking to further his education, and has completed advanced study of Chinese pulse diagnosis, herb-drug interactions, and distal needling techniques. Additionally, Scott is a certified yoga instructor at the 200 hour level.
Scott is committed to empowering his patients and those in the community to take charge of their health and well-being by sharing practical information about Oriental medicine. He's given talks on nutrition, Chinese herbs, Five-Element theory, and acupressure for pain relief. When he's not doing these things, he enjoys a cup of green tea, and spending time with his wife and their two daughters.
